   Proposal Description:
   The goal of this proposal is to assess whether hearing and visual impairment is associated with dementia, cognitive decline, and neuropathology    Using UDS and NP data we will test the following:  1. Is hearing impairment associated with cognition, dementia subtype, and common neurodegenerative and cerebrovascular pathologies    2. Is visual impairment associated with cognition, dementia subtype, and common neurodegenerative and cerebrovascular pathologies    3. Is there an association between cognition and sensory impairments beyond than which can be explained by common neuropathologies
